GKC란?

What is GKC?

• GKC는 Gapyeong/Global Kids Connect의 약자로, 청심국제고등학교의 박진성, 고대현 학생에 의해 시작된 학생 단체입니다. 우리는 지역 및 전 세계적 교육 세션을 통해 청소년들을 연결하는 것을 목표합니다.

• GKC is an abbreviation of Gapyeong/Global Kids Connect. We are a student organization started at CheongShim International Academy by its students, Jinsung Park and Daehyun Ko. We are here to connect the youth through educational sessions, both locally and globally.

활동목적

Our Goals

• GKC는 다음과 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다:

  1. • 실습형 STEM 경험을 접할 기회가 부족한 학생을 파악하여 전문 지식을 공유할 수 있는 멘토와 연결합니다. 

     • 표준화 시험을 준비하는 교육적으로 취약한 학생들에게 다가가 자료를 안내해 줄 수 있는 멘토와 연결합니다.

• GKC strives to address the following problems:

  1. • Identify students who lack access to hands-on STEM experiences and connect them with mentors who can share their expertise. 

     • Reach educationally disadvantaged students preparing for standardized tests and link them with mentors who can guide them through the material.
